How long does the recording take?
About 30 seconds of speech. You read a short consent phrase the system gives you (it includes today's date — a real-time freshness check). Then the AI voice model is ready in roughly 15 seconds. After that, generating a new bedtime story takes about 15 seconds per story.
Will my voice be used to train AI?
No. Your voice model is private to your account, used only for stories you generate in Fablely. It is not used to train a foundation model, not shared with other users, and not sold to third parties. ElevenLabs (our voice provider) honors the same restriction.
What can I make with the voice clone?
Five built-in themes: bedtime stories (narrated by you), lullabies (sung in your timbre), adventure stories (your child as the hero), ABC adventures (early literacy), and voice letters (a 30-60 second message for a specific moment). How do I delete my voice and stories?
Open /library, scroll to Danger Zone, click "Delete my voice clone" or "Delete all my stories." Deletion is processed within 7 days (per BIPA Section 15(c) recommended timeline). The 30-second consent recording is retained 3 years as legal audit trail per BIPA Section 15(b)(3).
What ages are the voice stories for?
Currently optimized for newborn to age 5: bedtime stories, lullabies, ABC adventures, and short voice letters. As your child grows, the time-locked Vault feature lets you record messages that unlock at age 8, 13, 18, wedding day, or any date you pick.
